The Operational Effectiveness team is responsible for the delivery of transformational change across Risk in India, in partnership with the wider Risk Infrastructure organisation, ensuring the seamless delivery of change and improvement. The scope of transformation includes right-shoring, operating model landscape, organisational design, optimisation initiatives and the complete business process management cycle. The team also strives to drive transformational performance improvement, behavioural and cultural change through the direct and supported delivery of continuous improvement methods and principles across all areas of Risk in India.

Meet Naveen Vohra

"I’ve been with RBS for over seven years now, and have worked across various roles, such as Projects, Operations and Relationship Management in India and a Business Management post in the UK. Currently, as a VP, I’m responsible for the delivery of Strategic and Regulatory projects within RHI.

I run the Achieving Excellence Workstreams (AEW), designed to make RHI and the bank simpler by delivering on key customer-centric initiatives. The workstreams run for 90 days, wherein time-bound, achievable quick wins are identified, and solutions developed in-house and implemented within the agreed period. Teams are encouraged to do this without any additional resources and budgets. The AEW initiative gives team members an opportunity to create lasting results, while building cross-functional relationships.
