We have a fantastic range of graduate programmes across our Operations, Technology and Risk functions. The programmes are a great way to develop a unique set of skills, and are often the start to a long and fulfilling career with us.
This two year programme offers classroom based technical training, before 16 months on the job training. At the end of the two years during which time you’ll have built a strong foundation of knowledge regarding technology in general and specific domains, you’ll be offered an exciting position in one of our innovative technology units.
Risk Hub India
This programme will see you joining this function as a Risk Analyst after completion of the course, and you’ll have exposure to our global risk functions including Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Risk Information Services, Retail Analytics & Models, and Risk Assurance.
Data & Analytics
Available to first year students, our Data & Analytics (D&A) programme is an engaging and concentrated course that runs from between six and eight weeks during summer. We hire hard working D&A specialists, and deliver training to develop both their technical and functional capabilities. The course also offers the opportunity to build stakeholder management skills as candidates will be collaborating across various functions and franchises to deliver high quality business solutions.
Our Internal Audit training programme has been designed to help interns build their understanding of internal audit methodology and our ‘Audit Risk’ assessment process. The programme is available to first year students from top ranking MBA, PGDM and MSC Statistics campuses, and is an opportunity to participate in audit planning, walkthroughs and testing.
Other than technical skills, the course offers soft skills training that covers business communication, negotiation skills, team work, and working across various different cultures.
The work you do will help us to provide the board and senior management with independent assurance on the appropriateness of the design and operational effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls. As a result, we’ll be able to monitor, manage and mitigate the bank’s material risks.
Management Associate Programme (MAP)
Our Management Associate Programme packs a wide range of training activities into a four month period. Your classroom-based and on the job training will span across our Personal Banking, Commercial & Private Banking, Shared Services Operations, and NatWest Markets functions, giving you a real insight into how our various business areas operate.
During the programme you’ll have a clear overview of our key functions, and you’ll contribute to people development and behavioural training, live projects, functional training and assessments, while being mentored by one of our senior leaders.
Applications for our Graduate Programmes will take place on selected campuses between July and February.
