Functions is the collective name for our specialist areas, responsible for providing support, expertise and advice across RBS. Functions covers several very different departments, and as such, we require a wide array of skills and experience from our people.
While our Risk teams ask the right questions and influence every decision we make, we look to our Internal Audit function to make sure the controls are in place to protect our customers, their evolving needs and the bank. Internal Audit is our third line of defence and provides independent assurance across all functions and franchises in India. Internal Audit brings together a wide range of risk specialists who continually challenge the way we do things to ensure we’re working in a responsible, fair and compliant way.
Our Finance teams have the expertise to make sure our finance strategy is managed in the right way. And in HR we’re creating a great place for people to work from the moment they join us. Another primary focus of HR is to deliver our people agenda, ensuring we’re attracting, retaining and developing the best talent. Our specialists in HR work across payroll, rewards and benefits, learning and development, recruitment and project management among other areas. Our customer focused teams are passionate about making banking with, and working for RBS enjoyable.
Looking to the future is a key part of what we do. And in Conduct & Regulatory Affairs and Legal we help to prepare for the forthcoming regulatory and legislative landscape. In Change Management we’re shaping the bank of tomorrow by making innovative changes to benefit our customers. Our Communications & Marketing team work together with our people, customers and markets to understand our products and strategy.
