The Role

If your expertise lies in supporting supervisors with their JML responsibilities including follow up with supervisors to query gaps in data quality and driving issue resolution, a position as Associate I is ideal for you. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Front Office (FO) and driving the day to day operations of the BA team & Support Front Office Supervisors with their JML and IAR responsibilities.To qualify for this role, you need to have prior experience managing non-staff costs, including Purchase Order Management, accruals, invoicing and associated controls.

What the Business Does

This role is based in the NWM COO India.NWM COO plays a strategic and functional role for NWM FO, to support global business, conduct administrative good practices, and to ensure compliance with external regulations and internal procedures. The Central function supports in filling process gaps, during process & role transitions into India; the team is responsible for supporting all verticals and business streams to ensure success including headcount and budgets.


Your Responsibilities

As Associate I, you will be required to:

  • Support the continued development of the regulatory regime IAR (Individual Accountability Regime) across NWM including strategic implementation of governance, process and controls
  • Maintain the Regulatory Data across NWM including, collation and on­going maintenance of the NWM Certified population globally, assisting with population queries, updating HR with changes to the IAR population and work with the business teams to review, challenge and provide quality assurance on the population
  • Perform the JML (joiners, mover & leavers) related process; work with line managers to ensure that JML formalities are completed; challenge & engage with line managers to ensure they are providing the sign offs within the given timelines
  • Responsible for Sales travel request are appropriately approved; ensure the actual travel dates with the approvals for the travel; take full ownership of the contract log; ensure it is up to date and accurate
  • Conduct a monthly refresh and sign-off process for the contract log, by co-ordinating line managers and business managers; ensure Purchase Orders are raised for all non-staff costs, new contracts and renewals


Skills you need

  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual, with a strong drive for both accuracy and improvement; strong numerate academic background.
  • Can manage tasks end to end basis and drive BM strategies; can independently manage and handle requests of Senior Stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with colleagues at multiple levels in a global organisation; ability to work under pressure, prioritise and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively and engagingly with various teams (Senior Leaders, Business heads and line teams) and across all businesses, control and support areas of the Bank
