The Business

The Role

If your expertise lies in development and engineering skills, a position as Software Designer is ideal for you. In this role, you will be responsible for working on various enhancements which come across from business on WIP, starting from analysis of requirements, development and release. He/she should contribute at design level as well while delivering these user stories.


To qualify for this role, you need to have at least five years of hands on design and development experience in relevant technologies in the recent past.

What the Business Does

This role is based in the DES reporting to the Tech Lead.


DES provides Customer enabling products and services across the enterprise to allow the business to manage key client and company relationships consistently. Includes CRM and Digital Signatures capabilities. WIP is an integral part of CRM where in it acts as a central repository for recording and managing all potential business opportunities.


Your Responsibilities

As CRM – Software Designer, you will be required to:

  • Work in technical design and implementation of relevant modules/ components/ applications, using ASP.NET, C# .NET 4.0, SQL 2008,HTML/CSS,AngularJS, JS and WebApi  with VS2010 as IDE
  • Understand database and xml schemas that define complex data structures; Unit Test coverage using NUnit, Jasmine
  • Follow sound Agile practices; maintaining sanity of various environments (SIT, UAT, Continuous Integration)
  • Contribute to review design/ implementation/ coding practices/ development process followed by the team; collaboration within team, as well as across functions (e.g. testing) and regions (particularly London)


Skills you need

  • B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA (Honors/ 1st class) / PGDCA; exceptionally strong candidates without formal education will also be considered; relevant technical/ functional certifications
  • Essential knowledge in ASP.NET, C# .NET 3.5/ 4.0; SQL Server 2005/2008; VS2010; NUnit, TypeMock; Jasmine; WebAPi/Restful; TeamCity; TFS; SOLID Design Principles; AngularJS; JS; HTML/CSS
  • Good track record of working with Agile, including knowledge on how to conduct code reviews, pairing sessions, retrospectives
  • Experience in Investment Banking/ Front office Sales / CRM applications is a distinct advantage.
