Job Title: Tech Lead
Job Location: Gurgaon/Delhi
The Tech Lead is responsible for ensuring the production stability of the applications within the team’s support portfolio. You are expected to:
Lead the investigation and permanent resolution of repetitive production incidents
Be relentless in identifying and driving effective follow-up actions to ensure prevention of future service issues.
Lead a group of techies both RBS and Managed Service, and based across multiple locations for driving the automations.
Coach team members on technology, processes, and behaviours, to enhance their skill-set and effectiveness.
What the Business Does
CPB Technology Production Services is responsible for ensuring ongoing stability and availability of Applications/Services required by the CPB business to undertake their operations.
Lead the response to high-criticality incidents, ensuring fast-paced resolution.
Lead the subsequent investigation of root-cause, mitigation fixes, read-across initiatives.
Lead the take-on of new applications into support portfolio.
Lead proactive initiatives to prevent production issues arising by providing innovative improvisations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Managed service staff, central IT teams, and Platform & Project resources, and business stakeholders.
Providing technical coaching to RBS India resources.
Provide on-call support as required
Provide training as and when required on relevant subjects
Skills you need
Total 8+ years of industry experience with at-least 3 years of support experience.
Working Experience in Automations is desirable
Proven experience of leading technical staff to solve/prevent production issues.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Experience of working with, and leading, Managed Service staff, and managing vendors.
Drive innovative solutions, positively challenging existing ways of working.
A customer-centric attitude
Ability to challenge confidently when required ensuring right thing is done.
An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and other Technology stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience of driving the application support response during high-criticality incident recovery calls.
Demonstrate strong Critical People Capability (CPC) behaviours, and act as role model to RBS and Managed service team.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Experience of configuring / tuning monitoring tools: Splunk/ App Dynamics
Minimum experience of 3 years in production support.
Minimum 5 years’ experience of technical roles.
Experience of Cloud-based applications.
Experience in Niche Technologies like – RPA, App-Dynamics, SPLUNK etc.
ITIL Foundation Service Management qualification
