The Role

Join us as a Software Designer and manage the development of modules and accountability of its delivery


What the Business does

This role is based in F&RS Tech team within NatWest Markets Technology India (NWM Tech).

F&RS(Financing and Risk Solutions) focuses on high-value, lower-volume Solutions and Financing activities


NWM Tech develops IT solutions and critical support services to continually improve the Bank's competitive edge, profitability and client focus.


Your Responsibilities

As a Software Designer your key responsibilities will include:


  • Develops and designs the code modules incorporating best practices & design principals

  • Contributes to technical design discussions and code review

  • Prepares unit test for all code written and reviewing for others

  • Well verse with release and build process and providing production support

  • Understand business requirements and translate them in actual deliveries.


The Skills you’ll need

In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Dot Net development
  • C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
  • Entity Framework, LINQ,
  • REST, Windows services
  • Agile Methodology
  • NUnit, MS Test, Mocking, Unit and Integration testing
  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries and working experience of SQL Server
  • Sound understanding of coding best practices & Design Patterns
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and Dependency Injection
  • Experience of CI/CD tools like Team City
