Job Title: Senior Associate - Data Privacy and Record Management

 

Role

The role holder, based in India, would support the Business Change Lead in delivery of a work stream within the Data Privacy & Records Management Team, providing business analysis and input to solution design and delivery in line with the regulatory requirement.

What the Business Does

This role is based in the Data Privacy and Record Management Team at NWM Operations reporting to the Vice President. The team is responsible for documentation, implementation and management of controls to comply with Data Privacy and Records Management compliances.

You’re Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role are

  • Support delivery of a work stream within the Data Privacy & Records Management project including managing milestones & RAID register
  • Complete detailed analysis utilising Excel and other tools in order to support process or technical change recommendations.
  • Gather business requirements and assist in validation and documentation
  • Assist with designing a go-forward target operating model to demonstrate regulatory compliance while supporting business objectives
  • Work with a range of stakeholders and collaborate across different project and business areas
  • Assist in running working groups & workshops as required to support the process of analysis and requirements gathering

Skills You Need

  • Strong experience of working in a Business Analyst capacity preferably involving data management/data analysis and solutions implementation
  • An understanding of GDPR, data privacy laws and requirements especially around Privacy by Design & Default would be an advantage
  • Experience in Records Management/Information Lifecycle Management would be an advantage
  • Experience of analysing problems and coming up with effective solutions, using business analysis tools and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a logical approach to problem solving
  • A record of working effectively with others to deliver on shared goals
  • The enthusiasm to take the initiative, keep learning, and explore new ideas and possibilities
  • Experience of working with Qlikview would be an advantage
