The Role

Join us as a Software Designer, and manage design and code of Murex in Treasury Solutions.


What the Business does

This role is based in the Treasury Solutions at Finance Solutions reporting to the Development Manager.

Due to ICB regulation, Treasury Solutions team is on-boarding MUREX application to build own trading platform.

A large part of our work involves designing, developing and delivering Murex platform and addressing different kind of issues or challenges.


Your Responsibilities

As a Software Designer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Attending day to day scrum.
  • Understanding requirements after discussing with Business and Technology stakeholders.
  • Design and develop optimized solutions by collaborating with UK team.
  • Delivery

The Skills you’ll need

In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:

  • Extensive development knowledge on Murex version 3 or above
  • MxML interfaces development
  • Working knowledge on FpML
  • Working knowledge on MQ, OSP Queue
  • DataMart implementation
  • Mix of greenfield, migration and upgrade projects
  • DataMart / MReport
  • Databases: Oracle / SyBase or equivalent
  • Core Java (Desirable)
  • Scripting languages
