The Role

 

Join us as a Sr. Analyst as a part of the Commercial & Private Banking Division. This role requires the individual to undertake and deliver analysis, modelling and data-mining services to enable Commercial & Private Banking Division to achieve its financial and sales performance objectives.

 

What the Business does

 

The Customer Analytics team is responsible for the development and delivery of analytical insight in order to improve customer experience and engagement and RM effectiveness within the Commercial & Private Bank (CPB).

 

Global Analytics is broadly divided into four functional domains – Research & Analysis, Data Modelling & Simulation and Creative & Design Services – thus providing end-to-end research and client solutions.  In addition, teams within GA also prepare dashboards, automations, generation of insights to support business performance and strategic discussions through MI, Analytics and Data Foundations for customers across Personal & Business Banking, India Bank and Operations services.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Sr. Analyst your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Deliver high-quality, value-add data driven insights that drive improved decision making with the CPB Coverage, Sector and Customer Experience teams and demonstrably moves the business forward and achieves commercial outcomes

  • Industrialise best RM performance principles by using data to drive quality customer interactions

  • Leverage data and analytics expertise to ensure right products at the right price to meet customers’ needs. Map the volume/complexity mix within portfolios and investigate the impact on customer service and performance

  • Manage multiple stakeholders and guiding analyst and senior analysts in providing quality outputs on multiple projects

  • Proactively take part in process improvement through idea generation and business delivery improvement initiatives (e.g. project enhancement through additional analysis modules etc.)

  • Ensure compliance to risk policies (operational and business) – BCM, info security, access control, RACA compliance etc.

  • Prepare for the quarterly audits and ensure compliance to all audit checks

 

The Skills you’ll need

 

In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:

 

  • Masters in Business Administration / Maths / Statistics / Economics / Operational Research / Quantitative Economics

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Economics/Commerce/Mathematics

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in data management preferably within financial services industry or database marketing
